Driving Excellence: Honoring Marten's Q1 2025 Drivers of the Quarter
At Marten Transport, our drivers are the heart of everything we do. Each quarter, we proudly recognize outstanding professionals who go above and beyond in safety, service, reliability, and leadership. Our Drivers of the Quarter are more than skilled behind the wheel—they’re mentors, problem-solvers, and everyday heroes who keep America’s freight moving.
As we reflect on the first quarter of 2025, we’re proud to spotlight a group of exceptional drivers whose commitment to excellence represents the very best of Marten. Whether navigating tough weather, meeting tight delivery windows, or lending a hand to fellow drivers, these individuals embody what it means to drive with pride and purpose.
How Drivers of the Quarter Are Chosen
Our Drivers of the Quarter are hand-selected by their operations managers based on performance across several key areas. To qualify, drivers must:
- Have at least 90 days of employment
- Run a minimum of 9,500 miles (or work 20 days for local drivers)
- Maintain no idle over 3%
- Complete all monthly safety videos
- Stay current on inspections and service
- Have no preventable accidents, log violations, or CSA violations totaling 12+ points
- Avoid out-of-network fueling and service failures
- Not be on any final or active warning
- Have earned at least one Driver of the Month award in the quarter
- Consistently go above and beyond the call of duty
In addition to recognition, each honoree receives a $100 reward, a Marten DOQ polo, a Blue Beacon truck wash gift certificate mailed to their home, and their name featured in The Transporter.
