Celebrating the Future: Randolph L. Marten Scholarship Recipients and Their Paths to Success

Marten Scholarships, which support the educational pursuits of our drivers' children. We’re proud to profile some of the outstanding students who have received these scholarships and their exceptional academic journeys.

Gavin Beck is in his second year at Urshan College, where he is studying Christian ministry. The child of Johnnie Beck, Gavin's commitment to his faith and his studies embodies the spirit of the scholarship program.

Lauren Brunner is at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where she is studying business finance. The child of Jeffry Brunner, Lauren is part of the university honors program and the Financial Management Association.

Ololade Caulker, the child of George Caulker, will study biomedical engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Ololade's interest in this field promises to lead to innovative solutions in healthcare technology.

Jonathan Capp is studying biology at Truman State University. The child of Jon Capp and Anna Capp, Jonathan has maintained a 4.0 GPA each semester and is a member of multiple honor societies.

Grace Clark, the child of Kathy Degenhardt and Roger Clark, is studying nursing at New York University. She is on the liberal studies Dean’s List and is a PCA at Mayo Clinic.

Taylor Collins is a third-year business management student at Randolph-Macon College. Taylor enjoys crocheting and reading, balancing her hobbies with her academic pursuits. She is the child of Clint Collins.

Karla Gallardo, the daughter of Luis Gallardo, is pursuing an accounting degree at Texas A&M International University. She was recently selected as a Reading the Globe ambassador, highlighting herself as both a leader and scholar.

Jackson Hall will study history education at the University of Arkansas. Jackson, the child of Joe Hall, is passionate about shaping the minds of future generations.

Ma’Kariya James is studying pre-med chemistry at Fort Valley State University. The child of Wendell James and Courtney James, Ma’Kariya is involved in numerous clubs and sports.

Lillianna Kreibich, the child of Michael and Melissa Kreibich, is studying exercise and sport science at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She has consistently made the Dean’s list and volunteers at a local elementary school, highlighting her commitment to both her education and her community.

Maxwell Marten, the child of Jason Marten, is studying business management at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Maxwell is ready to contribute innovative ideas to the business world.

Henry Meyer plans to study business finance at the University of Mankato, Minn. He was recently named Academic All-Conference for his latest basketball season, highlighting his dedication to both academics and athletics. Henry is the child of David and Michelle Meyer.

Aleina Mendoza is studying psychology and economics at Texas Christian University. Aleina, the child of Francisco Mendoza, is committed to understanding human behavior and economic systems.

Alexander Nichols is enrolled in the sports management program at the University of Kansas. As a member of the honors program and a regular on the dean’s list, Alexander has consistently demonstrated academic excellence. He is the child of Darin Nichols.

Olivia Parrett, the child of David Parrett, is studying business at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Olivia is committed to her studies and achieving success in the business world.

Lauren Peterson, the child of Jaclynn Peterson, is pursuing a degree in biochemistry at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She is dedicated to advancing her knowledge in the sciences and contributing to groundbreaking research.

Abigail Rivera, the child of Angel and Rebecca Rivera, is studying psychology and neuroscience at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. She is a member of the UTK Women’s Club Volleyball and Delta Gamma sorority.

Alanna Severson, the daughter of Heather and Adam Severson, graduated Salutatorian and plans to study accounting at Chippewa Valley Technical College.

Alondra Torres-Acevedo is studying sonography at the College of Central Florida. Alondra, the child of Luis Torres and Francis Acevedo, speaks French as a third language and is dedicated to advancing in the medical imaging field.

Kalista Weber is studying social studies education with a history emphasis at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. The child of Jay and Renee Weber, Kalista is passionate about education and history.
