Marten is immensely proud of our Million Mile recipients. The Million Mile Club honors those who have achieved an incredible milestone: One million miles of accident-free driving.

Earning one million accident-free miles is no small feat. It requires years of hard work, discipline, and an unwavering focus on safety. Each mile traveled represents countless hours spent navigating highways and overcoming challenges—all while prioritizing safety above all else. For Marten's drivers, reaching this milestone is a reflection of their commitment to excellence and their dedication to delivering freight safely and efficiently.

Daniel Grode has been a dedicated Marten driver for over 8 years and recently achieved one million safe miles. From forklift operator to professional driver, Dan's journey spans the nation, driving Marten trucks in all 48 states. Dan credits fellow Marten drivers Gary Farley and Greg Hayden for their support.

Peter Johnson joined Marten in December 2014 and has recently celebrated reaching his one millionth safe mile.. He extends his gratitude to Angelica, Matt, and colleagues at the Tomah Terminal for their support in reaching this milestone.

Nicholas Klinger reached one million miles after 8 years with Marten. He values the independence that comes with truck driving. Nicholas humorously thanked his steering wheel for being there through every twist and turn and his air ride seat for always letting him down easy.

Dallas Seif recently celebrated his million-mile achievement after joining our team in July 2015. His dedication and quick learning have led him to this milestone. He enjoys the opportunity to see the country and the challenges that come with truck driving. Dallas extended his gratitude to the dispatch team at Tomah Walmart DC #6085 for their support.

Mario Douglas achieved one million miles after starting with us in December 2014. With an impressive 29 years of driving experience under his belt, Mario cherishes the opportunity to see the country, relishing the freedom of the open road.

Tim Weir celebrated his achievement of reaching one million miles after a decade with us. He appreciates the solitude of remote locations that come with life on the road. Tim credits his wife for supporting him and extends gratitude to Marten Transport and Pam Gilreath.

Nicolas Cameron began his journey with Marten in September 2014 and recently celebrated one million safe miles. He enjoys being behind the wheel and embraces the freedom of the open road and its solitude. Nic extends his heartfelt thanks to his wife, Veronica, for her support.

Mitchell Young celebrated reaching one million miles after 12 years with us. Professional driving has opened doors to new places for him. Mitch extends gratitude to his son Mason, girlfriend Erin Green (soon to be Erin Young), Marten, and all his fleet managers.

Juan Pena reached one million miles after 8 years with Marten. He values the independence and solitude that come with driving. Juan expresses gratitude to his father, a former Marten driver, for his support in reaching this milestone.

Guillermo Ramirez Ferrand achieved one million safe miles following a decade-long tenure on our team. Guillermo finds driving relaxing and enjoys the novelty of new places daily. He shares his gratitude for his communicative dispatcher for their support.

Aubrey Johnson has been a part of our team since August 2012 and recently reached one million safe miles. He relishes the freedom and independence that come with driving a big rig. Aubrey expresses gratitude to God, his daughter Hannah, and Cory, his fleet manager, for their support in achieving this milestone. He also extends thanks to the entire Marten team.

Jason Keene recently joined the ranks of one-million-mile awardees after spending the last 11 years with Marten. Jason appreciates the opportunity to explore new places as part of his career. He credits his family for their support and encouragement in this achievement.

Willie Dillon rolled through one million safe miles after being with us since 2011. He finds solace in the peace and quiet of the job. Willie extends his gratitude to Angel and Rebecca Rivera at Marten for their outstanding support.

Douglas Double achieved one million safe miles after nine years with Marten. As a true professional driver, he relishes the opportunity to explore new scenery, meet diverse people, and earn a great income! Doug thanks his family, especially Stephanie and Dava, for their support, along with Stephen Shulman, his dispatcher, and Ben Hanifin, planner/dispatcher, for their assistance in earning this award.

Michael Evans accomplished one million miles after 12 years on our team. He enjoys the independence of life on the road. Michael extends his thanks to his family for their support in achieving this award.

Mark Smith reached one million miles after 10 years as a Marten driver. He appreciates the ever-changing scenery and experiences that come with driving. Mark shares his gratitude for his wife, Lisa, for her support in achieving this milestone.

Timothy Stanton has been on our team since December 2013 and recently reached his one million safe miles milestone. He highlighted the peace, freedom, and lack of micromanagement that comes with being a professional driver. He expresses gratitude to Justin Hurd, his first dispatcher, and dispatcher Alec Keating for their support.

Eric Kelsey celebrated his one million miles achievement after joining Marten in January 2010. He values the autonomy of being his own boss and the freedom of the open road. He shares his thanks to his wife, Majella, for her support and to his parents for being a source of inspiration along the way.

Milton Bertrand joined our team in 2013 and recently achieved one million safe miles. He finds joy in driving and appreciates the ability to work at his own pace. He extends his thanks to his wife, Alissa, and everyone at the Oregon terminal, with special appreciation for Ryan and Matt.

Phillip Smith accomplished one million safe miles after joining our team in 2014. He finds peace in the open road and is grateful to his wife, family, and Sharon Floyd from the Walmart terminal for their support in reaching this milestone.

Bradley Hutcheson earned his one million miles after nine years on the Marten team. He finds solace in the peacefulness of the job and enjoys the ever-changing scenery. Bradley extends thanks to his wife, Ashley, for her unwavering support and to Sharon Floyd for the opportunity to work with us.

Bradley Young has driven for Marten for the last nine years with us and recently received his one million safe miles. Brad relishes the responsibility of driving and enjoys the autonomy it offers. He is grateful to fellow million-mile driver William Bedford for his support and encouragement.

John Oquist joined Marten in June 2014 as a company driver before becoming an owner operator; he recently reached one million safe miles. His appreciation for open spaces and freedom drew him to this career. He thanks Kimberly Turpin for her support in achieving this award.

Patrick Choate earned the one million miles accomplishment after being an owner operator on our team since July 2014. He values the independence and autonomy that come with being his own boss on the road. He is grateful to his dad for being a great influence and for instilling the value of loyalty.

Paul Bendt reached a remarkable two million safe miles after 20+ years with Marten! His dedication to safe driving is truly commendable. Having been behind the wheel for most of his life, he finds joy in seeing new sights every day and exploring all the states. He extends his gratitude to the entire Marten team for their support in achieving this incredible milestone.

Charles Tederman recently reached an incredible milestone of four million miles! Charlie's journey with Marten began in 1993, but his career in trucking dates back to 1962 when he started hauling hay for his dad, who was also a trucker. He finds fulfillment in the interactions with people, the beauty of the country, and the freedom that driving offers. Charlie's dedication and willingness to go above and beyond are truly commendable, exemplified by his resilience even in the face of challenges. And as for retirement, Charlie's contentment with the road speaks volumes about his passion for trucking. Here's to many more safe miles ahead for Charlie!
